Is your carpet cleaning safe for children and pets?

At A Pristine we use reliable products that are environmentally friendly, non-toxic and safe for pregnant women, children and pets.

How long will it take for the carpet to dry?

It takes from approximately 3-4 hours after an A Pristine clean. Wool carpets may take longer. It’s also fine to walk on the carpet in your socks as soon as we leave.

What preparation do I need to do before you arrive?

We recommend a good vacuum before our arrival, if you prefer we can do this for you at a cost of $10 per room (up 12 square metres).

How are my carpets cleaned?

Our thorough A Pristine process first uses a pre-spray of lightly deodorised shampoo. We then complete the clean with our steam, rinse and extraction. Stubborn stains can be treated by hand prior to our steam cleaning.

What are your Sydney service areas?

We service Sydney’s metropolitan area (up to approximately 30km from the Sydney CBD). There may be a small travel surcharge if your home is outside of this catchment area.

How often should I clean my carpets?

This really depends on how much the carpet gets used. It helps to get them cleaned regularly, to keep your home or office feeling clean and fresh. As a guide, for larger families, or if you have pets and office spaces, we would recommend once every 6 months.

How long does it take to clean?

This depends on the number of rooms you are having cleaned. Typically, a basic deep steam clean will take up to 1 hour. If you require spot cleaning of stains or other treatments, the time can vary.

What can I do to speed up the drying time?

The drying time of the carpet depends varies depending on the material of the carpets. Acrylic carpets have a much shorter drying time than heavy wool carpets. Fans and good ventilation can help cut down on the drying time.

How do I pay A Pristine Carpet Clean?

We accept all major credit cards (with a small bank surcharge), cash and electronic fund transfer. Price is discussed before completing work and GST applies to all services.
